Instead of adding products by hand, the store needed to import product data automatically from a supplier API, so new and updated products could appear in the catalog without manual data entry.

The Challenge: Manual Product Entry Does Not Scale
Every product needs a name, description, price, images, and stock information, and entering all of that by hand is slow and error-prone. As the catalog grows, manual entry takes more and more staff time, and small mistakes — a wrong price, a missing image, a duplicated product — creep in. Camsatech needed an automated process that could bring product data in from the supplier API and keep the catalog accurate as products change.

The Solution: Automated Product Import via API
Techo Solution built an automated import that connects the store to the supplier API and pulls product data on a schedule. The import maps the supplier’s fields to the store’s catalog structure, creates new products, updates existing ones, brings in product images, and skips duplicates. Failed records are logged so they can be reviewed and reprocessed instead of silently disappearing. The work used our custom API integration services to keep the connection reliable and maintainable.

Results: A Catalog That Updates Itself
Product data now flows into the catalog automatically, so new products appear faster and updates reach the store without manual re-entry. The team spends less time on repetitive data entry, and product information stays consistent across the catalog. The store can grow its range without a matching increase in catalog admin work.
