The Challenge: Keeping a Growing Catalog Accurate by Hand
Adding products manually means retyping names, descriptions, prices, images, and stock levels for every item — work that is slow, repetitive, and easy to get wrong. When supplier data changes, the store has to catch up by hand, and outdated prices or missing products cost sales and trust. Dronzo needed a process that could import product data from the API and keep the catalog current without constant manual effort.

The Solution: Scheduled Product Import via API
Techo Solution built a scheduled import that connects the store to the supplier API. On each run, the import fetches the latest product data, maps it to the store’s catalog fields, creates new products, updates changed ones, and attaches product images. Duplicate products are detected and skipped, and any records that fail are logged for review. The integration was built with our custom API integration services, so the connection stays stable as the catalog grows.

Results: Faster Updates, Fewer Errors
The catalog now updates on its own schedule, with new products appearing and changed details reflected automatically. Manual data entry is reduced, product information stays consistent, and the team can focus on running the store instead of retyping product data. The import gives Dronzo a catalog that keeps pace with its supplier.
